Coolangatta, Queensland

Last weekend I traveled to Queensland and stopped in Coolangatta which is along the coast and has beautiful beaches. It was strange to see the skyscrapers so close to the shore line.   
                                                                      
We came across this large antique store that you could get lost in. It was crammed full of many cool items. They also had a barber shop at the front of the shop. It was classic and I also got a great deal on an old suitcase to keep my clothes in.

Afterwards we went to visit a couple of Wazzas friends. Here's how many Aussies get to live...Life must be tough :) They built this lounge/bar area themselves. It was fabulous!

Once we returned back to Byron Bay I made a curry paste from scratch with fresh ingredients and added it with Tofu noodles and vegetables. This one's for you again Taylor :) I put the Taro in with this and it was so delicious! I actually enjoyed tofu because it didn't just taste like a sponge in my mouth!
