Southern Cross

Just hit the road again after spending the night at Southern Cross Motor Park. It rained hard all night and fortunately the host at the motor park offered us the recreation room to stay in. We had a roof over our heads, electricity, and a cooking area. The universe is already looking out for us. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place :) Had a nice warm meal, jammed on the guitar, and got a good night's sleep.

This is the first geocache we found so far on this trip. It was located at a beautiful lookout point with historic machinery kept there for viewing.  We now have a cactus treasure with us on our trip. Feeling good, listening to the perfect road trip music and loving life!
