This morning Wazza and I jumped out of bed and headed straight out the door to try to see what we could get accomplished today. We talked to some locals and looked at all the options for getting back on the road. Alas, here we still sit ha ha. While visiting some of the shops I ran into this beautiful little creature. He was sooo cute and cuddly :D
The landscape and plants are beautiful as well. This picture shows one of my favourite trees which looks like a giant pineapple
Another tree we passed by looked as though it had been spray painted with silver paint. It was so smooth to touch.
On the way back to Shelly Beach we crossed paths with an unusual guardian named Bella. This is her here...
She hopped down from her perch and gave me a couple of playful head-butts then allowed me to pet her. She wears a pink collar and makes a good pet for the boys who live here. In total we walked 16kms today. I wore my onesie and walked in bare feet around town today. The best part about staying in a small town is that nobody cares what you look like and most of the time you fit right in with the locals anyway. As you can see in the background of this picture I also get to sleep in a bunk bed like I used to as a child. I even get the top bunk! It's good fun :)
Wazza is also still in his pajamas and somehow still managing to stand and cook. I am so done for the day but very much looking forward to some warm and healthy dhal. YUM!
Such a cute little critter!! Little lamb???
ReplyDeleteCool pineapple tree. Beautiful girl in the pic!! xxoxoxo. Serenity had a good laugh at the guardian named Bella - especially since I also call her 'Bella'!!! (short for Serenatina Ballerina)
